Monica Taylor founded Cape Coast Cuisine to bring the bold, soulful flavors of the Ghanaian coast to Maryland. Drawing on a lifetime of family recipes and the proud culinary heritage of Cape Coast, she built a kitchen and a community where the diaspora — and every neighbor — feels at home.
As Founder & CEO, Monica leads the team with the same care she pours into her kitchen: thoughtful hospitality, authentic ingredients, and a deep commitment to celebrating Ghanaian culture in the DMV.
